Description: Has your trail rides been boring? Unsafe? Not fun? Or just plain forgettable? I got the fix for you!!! Good Time Charlie is what you need! Nothing is more fun than riding down the trail on a mule that is better gaited than everyone else’s horses are! Oh and don’t forget those big floppy ears! Everyone loves those too. Charlie is is a 7 year old John(Gelding) mule that stands between around 15hh. Charlie has been trail ridden in multiple states, been on camping trips and been to big annual rides where there are thousands of riders and horses. Charlie is easy to handle, perfectly fine with his ears and ok with his feet. He will ride in a britchen or tail crupper either one and is easy to tack up. He has never offered to kick!!! Charlie is always steady we have exposed him to tarps, whips, gunfire off his back, leaf blowers, dragging objects... Charlie just takes whatever comes at him like a champ! He rides good on trails and staying true to his mule traits he is very sure footed on rough rocky trails and will pick his way through a sticky situation and not freak out on tight trails. He will cross logs, creeks, ditches, scale slick rocks and climb steep slopes. Charlie rides good in traffic and is not shy around semi trucks, log or dump trucks, motorcycles or cars. He is also safe on highways and will ride past mailboxes and dogs running at him barking. Charlie has a very smooth 4-beat gait and he will flow along very smoothly up to 12 mph. He is perfectly content to walk along slowly but moves out nicely when asked. In addition to a smooth gait he does have a nice short lope, a quick stop and he stands patiently. A good time like Charlie doesn’t come along often so when it does you just have to pop a top and join the party!!!
